Elfsala Lodge is located in the middle of Stockholm Archipelago, a mere 38 km from central Stockholm; the journey by car only takes 35 minutes. Even the last stretch of the road is tarred and all roads are kept open – snow-ploughed – all year round.

There is also a bus stop only 300 meters from the lodge; the bus takes about 50 minutes from central Stockholm.

If you want to go by boat from Stockholm it’s about 2 to 3 hours with an Archipelago tour boat or a motor yacht, taking the beautiful route through canals and sea lakes, or about 1 hour round the island of Värmdö with a fast RIB craft.
